Answers to Your Questions
about European Data

We've answered many of your questions about the availability of European data on eSignal, including what you need to start receiving data, what exchanges are available, looking up the correct symbol for a European stock and more.

What do I need to start receiving your new
European Equities data?
Very easy! Just two simple steps and you'll be watching stocks from all over Europe!
1 You'll need to be using eSignal 6.3 or higher. To download your free upgrade, please go to: http://www.esignal.com/download/default.asp, and follow the instructions to download to your PC. It's fast and easy, so try it today!
2 Next, you'll need to subscribe to the European exchanges and add them to your account. To add the European bundle, the fees are just US$25 per month for annual subscribers and US$50 per month for monthly subscribers, plus applicable exchange fees. For more information on pricing, please go to http://www.esignal.com/esignal/pricing/pricing_calc.asp.
To add services to your existing eSignal account, simply log onto our Account Maintenance* site and do it yourself. The site is typically available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Click here: https://secure.esignal.com/maintenance.asp and then complete these 6 steps:
1 Enter your Username and Password; click Submit.
2 Under Product Changes, click on Add/Cancel Product Services.
3 Select the product you wish to make changes to; click Next.
4 Under European Region, check the box next to each exchange you wish to add. If this is the first European Exchange you are adding, you'll receive a pop-up message reminding you of the region fee; click OK. Once you're done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next.
5 Then click Maintenance Menu.
6 Finally, click Logout, and you are done!
*Account Maintenance is available under the Customer Support tab on the menu bar in eSignal, versions 6.0 and higher, or go to https://secure.esignal.com/maintenance.asp.

I see two different "markets" associated with the London Stock Exchange (LSE). What are the differences?
Subscribing to the "U.K. Equity Market" gives you authorization to view only those companies based within the U.K. Subscribing to the "International Equity Market" gives you authorization to view only those companies that trade on the LSE yet are based outside of the U.K. If you want to view all stocks on the LSE, you need to subscribe to both services. For a list of international companies trading on the LSE, please click here.
Where can I look up the correct symbol for a European Stock?
